NASA’s World Wind - this is just such a cool total waste of time, disk space and processor power… basically a photo viewer for several sets of satellite photos - and the detail varies according to where in the world you’re looking - however some of the pictures are stunning… but remember, it’s a huge download to start with, and it still needs to download images on the fly too - so a fast broadband connection is essential!
