In past years, it's been near the exit from Hex and has been known as both "Starchaser" and "Crux" - appropriately located in the old chapel itself, where the Model Railway used to be.

I've not been to Towers yet this season, so can't comment on whether it still exists.

Although Starchasers website has long gone - the Crux website is still around, try www.crux.tv - however I wouldn't recommend it... it has all the hallmarks of a religious organisation trying to reach a secular audience by sucking them in, then only at the end actually revealing what it's about - A classic example is the "faith" section, "The crux of the matter is what do you beleive in" - then only giving the "Christian" options. Hardly balanced.

To add a nice circular trackback to all this - James has posted his perspective on all this, and has done so far more eloquantly than I did! - and there is now a very lively debate on Ark Alive going on in his comments!

In fact, the Christian bit of Alton Towers is so subtle I have no idea what it is. Maybe there's hidden meaning in Toyland Tours...
