Voters Unite
Well, the day of voting is upon us… Today it became apparent quite how many candidates were standing in my consitituency - (9) - Most of them hadn’t even bothered to put a leaflet through my door, let alone try any other type of campaigning - so as I had no idea what their policies were, I couldn’t vote for them. Here’s a tip - if you want someone to vote for you - tell them why!
Of the three candidates who did make an attempt to gather my vote at a constituency level (Obviously the “big three” had their national campaigns - but one of them didn’t bother to bring the campaign to me locally), I took a measured approach, looked at the issues, and decided which to vote for.
My vote was cast on the way to the office this morning. For those of you reading this in the UK, don’t forget to vote today - it’s the only chance you’ve got to have your say…
Now back to work, so I can earn money, and give a considerable amount of it to the government to finance that (I beleive) illegal and unjustified war.
