Music (or “Dreaming of Swansea”)

My media player just randomed onto “Swansea” by Martyn Joseph - a song that always seems to make me melancholy for happier times… times when I was thinner, had a relationship, had friends around me…

Yes, tonight I’m “on a low” - so this is likely to be a classic example of rambling about nothing much at all… feel free to stop reading, I doubt this is going to get any better as it goes on…

Oh well, let’s see what the next song is…

“I’ll be there for you” by the Rembrants (or “The Theme From Friends” as it’s better known) - “when it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month or even your year”

Why is my music collection full of depressing stuff… I need to get some decent music that doesn’t depress me…

At least it’s not as bad as the track I heard in the gym a couple of weeks ago, dunno who it’s by, but with lyrics which were something like “Lonely. so lonely, I’m Mister Lonely - I have nobody to call my own”

At the moment this is a members only post - so only those of you who are actually members of the site can read it.

Is F1 Too Dull - try this instead

As regular motorsport heads into another winter of legal battles and discussions and engineering to meet another set of rule changes - now is the time to look to the future of hi-octane sport…

Is it “Rocket Racing” ?

Yes, that’s right, 10 competitors in rocket-planes - all dreamt up by Peter Diamandis - winner of the elusive “X Prize” for manned spaceflight, who has a vision of a series of high performance rocket powered aircraft negotiating a computer generated “virtual track” in the sky.
