The Libertine
A very unusual movie indeed - a very “adult” period drama, romance, theatre and Johnny Depp.

Bronze Pin
This morning I got my bronze pin - this is for giving blood 10 times.
As usual, a simple and straightforward process - took 40 mins from start to finish (including 10 mins enjoying complimentary tea and biscuits after the session)
If you don’t give blood - and you are eligible to do so, put aside any fears of pain and discomfort, find your local donation center and do it (links follow for the English, Welsh, Scottish and Northern Ireland Blood Service Websites). If you’re outside these areas, Google will no doubt help you find your local Blood transfusion services.

Fonts and Flash
You may have noticed two new fonts appearing on this site - the one in the header:

and one in the post title
.
Both fonts are from FontSmack and are rendered using a technique known as sIFR - normally you’d need your own fonts, and Flash from Macromedia to render sIFR fonts, but the font packs from FontSmack are already converted into sIFR formats - making integrating them a snap.

Stylesheet Problems
It’s come to my attention that IE has trouble rendering posts which contain images. Now, I’ve no idea why this is the case, but it is.
I’ll take a look at it when I’ve got some time, but in the meantime I’d recommend switching to another browser…

Oakwoods New Ride
Well, those nice folks at Oakwood have announced their new for 2006 ride - and as everyone expected, it’s a Gerstlauer Eurofighter design.
Their website has a nice video (done in NoLimits!) of the design. Wow! I think I’ll be going there quite a bit next year!

A Nice Walk

Where did I go today?
That’s right, Clifton. Very pretty it was too - although a bit cold!
(and yes, the camera on my phone is lousy)
