Let it Snow…
The first snow of the year has fallen, and as usual it seems that no-one can cope with half-an-inch of the white stuff.
Yes, buses aren’t running, trains are delayed, roads and schools are closed… why can we not cope when other countries just carry on.
It looks pretty enough though… although it’ll all have melted in no time now the sun is out.

A nice frost, but no snow on the ground here this morning. Does salt from the gritting lorries count?
A Magical Winter Wonderland Coming Soon
Today on Radio 4 are holding a winter photography competition in honour of the forecast of a snowy weekend. Inspired by that and the various wintery-blog posts appearing around the web, I’m getting excited …No snow here yet though. …
No snow here in Sunny Sheffield.

It never rains in Nottingham so I doubt there will be much snow until January. We do stirling work in frosts though.
