King Kong
A short review of an overly long film…
Too much CGI for the sake of it (and some of it not entirely convincing), the plot is fairly minimal and much of the action seems to be there just to pay the bills at the effects company - whole sequences “shot” in nothing but CG.
Cut half an hour from the first third, and half an hour from the middle third and it’d be bearable… it’s just too long for the story it’s trying to tell.
