Is the net broken?
Something weird is going on with the internet (at least, from my perspective here on NTL) - several “big name” sites I regularly visit are down - and a ping or tracert isn’t even getting the site IP from the DNS database…
Using the “remote trace” tools at http://www.nwtools.com/ aren’t doing much better either - although they still seem to have DNS records for places like Microsoft.com (!) they’re getting trace failures too.
Interestingly, connecting to the Gmail service as http://gmail.com works, whereas http://www.gmail.com doesn’t.

And now www.google.com has gone too…

Google is back, now it’s www.Last.FM I can’t connect to.
Strange… is it just me though?
