I’ve just been over to Real.com to attempt to download their “free” RealPlayer.

It appears that the only obvious way to download it includes a 14 day trial for their RealMusic service, for which I have to supply my credit card details. (more…)

Thinking of buying a beemer… well maybe you’d be better off not…

Apart from the usual reasons for not buying one (mainly the image that BMW drivers shouldn’t be allowed on the road ‘cos of they’re dangerous and inconsiderate behaviour*) - heres another one…

That’s right 135mph and no way to stop.

* Note - I’m not tarring all BMW drivers with this brush, but when I’m on the motorway and someone is tailgating me while I overtake a truck at the legal speed limit, with their headlights on main beam - 95% of the time, once they pass, and cut me up as if I shouldn’t have been there in the first place, there’s that little blue and black disc on the back of the car…
