I’m not quite sure who orwhat would have need for such a contraption.
Would be useful to augment the increasingly over-the-top external house decorations.
Actually, I don’t mind those really over-the-top things, and this artificial snow looks great. It’s all fun after all. What does annoy me though is when you get several houses in a row doing it, or a whole street. The novelty wears off then and it just becomes a headache.
I’ve still yet to find anything to beat the american lights-set-to-music which turned up on the video sites last year…

Yes! It was not just the lights actually, I thought the music was pretty stirring. I even investigated the band!
